Prem Mandir is a Hindu temple in Shri Vrindavan Dham, Uttar Pradesh, India, which was established and inaugurated by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj in February 2012.
This unique temple of Shri Radha Krishna and Shri Sita Rama in Vrindavan represents a renaissance in ancient Indian art and architecture. Prem Mandir houses several idols:
Shri Radha Krishna
Shri Sita Ram
Depictions of the Jagadgurus and Rasik Saints
Leelas (devotional pastimes) of Baby Krishna, and more.
The descension of divine love and bliss, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj dedicated this gift of divine love to Shri Vrindavan Dham. A perennial stream of divine love will flow for ages to come through this unique monument. It is a commemoration of Madhurya Bhav, the feeling of devotion where God is seen as your beloved.
This unique historic temple has considerably enhanced the glory of Vrindavan. A visit to this sacred town is incomplete without a visit to the temple of divine love.
It took about 12 years and one thousand skilled artists to give Prem Mandir its special shape and design. On one hand, artisans used chisels and hammers to engrave special inlays, and on the other, computerised robotic machines were giving shape to those stones replicating the leelas of Shri Radha Krishna. Such specialised machinery has rarely been used anywhere in India before.
